As you install a new nozzle onto a MakerGear hotend, a small amount of material is removed from the nozzle to create a custom fit. This makes the nozzle incompatible with any other barrel due to the slight variations in tolerances among different barrels. Unfortunately, for this reason, we do not allow returns on any MakerGear nozzles, regardless of whether they have been installed.

This wear-resistant, high lubricity nozzle is suited for the MakerGear V4 Hot End. Manufactured using heat-treated A2 tool steel which has been hardened completely through. These this nozzle has 50% better heat transfer than stainless steel nozzles and 25x to 100x more wear resistance, Hercules nozzles provide extreme durability for printing the harshest filaments.

 WARNING  To swap a nozzle, it is very important to remove the hot end from the mount first or the barrel will likely be damaged. Please watch the below videos.
