Limited warranty info for items sold by Partsbuilt 3D

We offer a 30-day limited warranty on all the products purchased through our website. A longer warranty may be provided by the manufacturer. Please refer to the list below.

Warranties cover repair or replacement of the defective part only. Labor, shipping and any other expense incurred by a failed part are solely the responsibility of the the customer. The replacement part offered may be new or refurbished at our discretion. 

Excluded parts:

  • Items not purchased from Partsbuilt.com
  • Parts damaged by the user
  • Parts not installed properly
  • Parts damaged by a different part being faulty
  • Parts installed on a different printer than intended
  • Normal wear items and consumables (these items include but are not limited to: PTFE tubes & fittings, nozzles, build plates & print surfaces, extruder gear assemblies, cutters, wipers, filters, silicone socks, desiccant, tape, print bed adhesive, filament, etc.)

Individual manufacturers may have other exclusions that are not listed here.

FDM Printers: 12 months
Key Components: 3 months (Mainboard, Extruder Assembly, Nozzle Assembly [except clogging] and IFS Module)
All other parts: 1 month 

Prusa Research
Replacement parts: 1 Year

Parts: 6 months

Items marked as “tested”
If an item is marked as tested, the item has been tested prior to shipping and is working. Please be extra careful with these items as they are prone to being damaged by user error and will not be replaced or refunded if damaged by the user. These items may not be returned as defective.

Please note: we do not ship warranty replacements outside the USA.
